The Montreal quartet—Simon Girard (vocals, guitars), Kevin Chartré (guitars, backing vocals), Hugo Doyon-Karout (bass), and Philippe Boucher (drums)—build on their reputation by interlacing intricate guitar lines with head-spinning bass work, all anchored by fierce, precision drumming.

Recorded at The Grid Studio under the guidance of Christian Donaldson (with assistance from Marco Fréchette), Algorythm balances technicality with melodic refinement. It features guest contributions from violinist Louis-Pier Racicot, cellist Olivier Caron, and French horn player Louis-Philippe Beauchamp, adding orchestral depth to tracks like “Disenthrall,” “À Travers Le Temps Et L’Oubli,” and “The Afterlife.” Additionally, Youri Raymond (UNHUMAN) lends his formidable vocals on “The Inversion,” further expanding the sonic spectrum.
