Undying Spectral Resonance - Cyan Blue and Red Galaxy Effect Merge Vinyl Record

MAMMOTH GRINDER roar back with their new EP, Undying Spectral Resonance—five tracks of raw, punk-infused old-school death metal that expand on the intensity of 2018’s Cosmic Crypt. Founding member Chris Ulsh (Power Trip, Devil Master) handled all instruments and vocals during sessions helmed by Arthur Rizk at his Philadelphia studio. As Ulsh explains, “I wanted to build on the sound we nailed down last time,” and that vision materializes in the EP’s grime-soaked riffs and relentless pacing.

Taking its name from a theory about lingering supernatural energy, Undying Spectral Resonance delves into the idea of a place tainted by morbid events acting as a gateway between our world and the immaterial realm. Now, MAMMOTH GRINDER also welcome a revamped live lineup, featuring Sebastian Phillips (Noisem/Exhumed) on guitar, Andy Horn (Loud Night) on bass, and Ryan Parrish (Iron Reagan) on drums, while Ulsh has shifted from bass to guitar duties—continuing as the voice of the band. The EP features a blistering guest guitar solo from Rizk himself, who also engineered, mixed, and mastered the record.
