PIG DESTROYER announce the 20 year anniversary, remixed/remastered reissue of Painter of Dead Girls, a collection of early recordings and b-sides!

Painter of Dead Girls is a meticulously curated compilation divided into two distinct parts. The first half features tracks originally recorded as equipment burn-in tests prior to the creation of the band’s influential full-length album, Prowler In The Yard, offering a rare glimpse into their early sound development. The second half gathers material from their cult split releases with Gnob and Benümb, alongside covers of seminal bands Helmet and The Stooges. It also includes the elusive “Delusional Supremacy 2K” and a raw, unpolished basement live recording of “Rejection Fetish,” capturing the band’s intense live energy. The cover art, crafted by Chris Taylor of Pg. 99—who later designed the iconic Terrifyer album art—adds historical depth, marking a significant milestone as that album celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. This compilation not only preserves rare and diverse recordings but also contextualizes the band’s evolution within the hardcore and noise rock scenes.
