LIVING GATE emerge from the underground in full force with their debut full-length, Suffer as One—a ferocious homage to old-school death metal. From the opening salvos of “To Cut the Head Off a Snake,” Suffer as One announces its arrival with angular, crushing riffs and suffocating blasts that underscore gut-rattling vocals. Every twist and turn—whether sudden shifts in melody or blistering solos—is crafted to keep listeners on edge. The punishing “Destroy and Consume” injects a fierce, almost hardcore attitude into its death metal core, building toward swirling leads that plunge straight into madness. A moment of ominous calm arrives with “Massive Depletion in Eb Minor,” where a haunting bass interlude preludes the album’s colossal title track.
